Parking at Roslyn House is on-street and generally easy to find. Our quiet location in Tobermory means there’s usually a space available right outside or nearby, but it’s first come, first served. We always suggest arriving with a bit of flexibility, especially during busier times, to ensure you find a convenient spot to start your stay.
1. How do I check in to Roslyn House?
Our check-in process is fully digital for your convenience. A few days before your arrival, we’ll send you a unique access code for the front door and your room. This means you can check in anytime after 3pm, without the need for a reception desk.
2. Can I get help if I need it?
Absolutely! While we don’t have staff on-site, we’re just an email, message or call away. Our team is always ready to assist you with anything you need— just use the contact details we provide at our entrance way, on the guest info sheet or on booking confirmations.
3. What’s included in the breakfast hamper?
Each morning, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated breakfast hamper waiting in your room. It’s filled with locally sourced items like Isle of Mull Cheese, smoked salmon, oatcakes, fresh fruit, croissants, jams, teas, coffee, and even a splash of Prosecco for a leisurely morning.
4. Is there daily housekeeping?
Yes! We replenish breakfast hampers daily and give your room a spring clean! However, if you’re staying a bit longer or need fresh towels or a room refresh, just let us know and we’ll arrange it for you.
5. Where can I park?
Roslyn House has on-street parking right outside or nearby. It’s generally quiet and first come, first served, so there’s usually a spot ready for you. Just arrive with a little flexibility and you’ll find a place to park with ease.
6. What if I have dietary requirements?
We’re happy to tailor your breakfast hamper to suit dietary needs where possible—just let us know in advance. Whether it’s gluten-free, vegetarian, or something else, we’ll do our best to accommodate you with locally sourced alternatives.
7. Can I bring my dog?
At the moment, Roslyn House does not allow pets. We understand how important they are, but our aim is to ensure a comfortable and allergy-friendly environment for all guests.
8. What’s the best way to get around Tobermory and the Isle of Mull?
Most guests find having a car gives them the best freedom to explore the island’s rugged beauty. However, Tobermory is very walkable, and there are also local buses and taxi services to help you venture further afield.
9. Where are you located?
Roslyn House is nestled in the heart of Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull. We’re perched just up the hill from the main seafront, giving you a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views. While it’s only a short stroll downhill to the harbour, please note that the walk back up can be a little steep. If you prefer, local taxis and the regular bus service are available to make getting back up the hill quick and easy.
